Streets of Dublin - Grand Canal Theatre

I did a sort walk today around the Grand Canal Square in Dublin and tried to capture the amazing modern buildings there, specially the Grand Canal Theatre. Ok, it's officially called Bord Gais Energy Theatre but I just can't get my head around that name.

This time I only shot in JPEG, didn't even bother with the RAW files. I'm still not convinced with the quality of the files I'm getting using Lightroom, so I try to get everything right in the camera and slow down and think about the result I want before I press any button.

All images were taken with the Fuji X-Pro1 and the 18mm f2.0 lens.

First wedding with the Fuji X Pro1

I shot Nicola & Brian's wedding last december and while I mostly used my trusted Canon gear I tried to give a fair chance to my little Fuji. I have to say it definitely delivers and suits documentary style shooting. I totally see myself using it more and more and moving to the X Pro and its successors full time in the near future.
All images were taken with the super 35mm 1.4 lens and processed in Lightroom.

Streets of Dublin

As part of my new personal photo project I try to rediscover the city I live in and why not start with my close neighbourhood. Sometimes you only have 1 or 2 hours for a short photo walk, but even if  that's all you have you can still find some hidden gems in your area .

This post is first of many coming and I will cover different locations in Dublin City. All the images were captured with the Fuji X-Pro1 and processed in Lightroom.
